COMMERCIAL BURGLARY: 14709 Lee Highway (Sunoco), 6/25/22, 2:58 a.m. An officer heard the business’ alarm sounding and saw a juvenile running from the business. Through detectives’ investigation, officers identified the juvenile, and he was charged with burglary, use of a firearm in the commission of a felony, possession of a firearm by a minor and destruction of property.
SHOOTING: 3300 block of Lockheed Boulevard, 6/26/22, 11:58 a.m. After an altercation, two men approached the victim and shot him multiple times. The suspects were seen running into an adjacent apartment complex but were not located. Preliminarily, detectives do not believe this was a random act. The victim was taken to the hospital with injuries that were not considered life threatening.
ROBBERY: 3600 block of Robert E Lee Place, 6/27/22, 8 p.m. The victim was approached by two men. One of the men implied he had a firearm and took the victim’s property. No injuries were reported.
STABBING: 8300 block of Richmond Highway, 6/28/22, 4:28 p.m. After an argument, a man displayed a knife and stabbed the victim. The victim had injuries that were not considered life threatening. This does not appear to be a random act.
COMMERCIAL ROBBERY: 7656 Richmond Highway (DTLR), 6/29/22, 3:30 p.m. Three men entered the store and approached an employee. One of the men implied he had a firearm and took merchandise without paying. The men drove away in a Toyota Camry. No injuries were reported.

COMMERCIAL ROBBERY/ STOLEN AUTO/ ELUDING: 6210 Seven Corners (Home Depot), 6/28/22, 2:20 p.m. A 25-year-old man from Maryland entered the store, threatened an employee and took merchandise without paying. The man left in a Toyota that was reported stolen earlier in the day. Responding officers located the Toyota and attempted a traffic stop. The Toyota sped away entering another jurisdiction. Officers notified that jurisdiction, and the man was arrested. He was charged with robbery, grand larceny, petit larceny, auto theft, eluding, driving without a license and possession of a fictitious registration.

CARJACKING: 7800 block of Loisdale Road, 6/25/22, 9:07 a.m. The victim was sitting in his vehicle when he was approached by a man armed with a knife. The man pulled the victim from his vehicle, assaulted him, took property and drove away in the victim’s Nissan Versa. The victim was treated for injuries that were not considered life threatening.
COMMERCIAL ROBBERY: 6500 Springfield Mall (Children’s Place), 6/28/22, 4:25 p.m. A woman entered the business and took merchandise without paying. When confronted by a store employee, the woman pepper sprayed the employee and left. No injuries were reported.
BANK ROBBERY: 6949 Commerce Street (Capital One Bank), 6/29/22, 3:14 p.m. A man entered the bank, presented a note demanding money and left on foot. No injuries were reported.
WEST SPRINGFIELD DISTRICT STATION
STOLEN AUTO WITH APPREHENSION/ ELUDING/ HIT AND RUN: 10000 block of Braddock Road, 6/25/2022, 9:08 p.m. The victim was at a gas pump with his BMW 330CI when a 20-year-old man from Springfield entered the victim’s car and drove away. The victim followed the stolen car with a bystander and updated officers of its location. Officers found the car and attempted a traffic stop, but the suspect sped off. The suspect lost control of the BMW and struck a pedestrian. The BMW became disabled after crashing. The suspect ran away until officers located him and took him into custody nearby. The pedestrian was taken to a hospital with injuries that were not considered life threatening. The man was charged with grand larceny and eluding.
