Detectives Continue To Investigate Overnight Shooting In Reston
Reston Police District – Detectives from our Major Crimes Bureau are currently investigating a shooting in Reston.
Last night at 11:42 p.m., officers responded to the 1900 block of Isaac Newton Square, Reston for a man who was shot. Officers found the adult victim outside his vehicle suffering gunshots to the upper body. Officers rendered aid until fire and rescue arrived. The victim was transported to a nearby hospital and remains hospitalized. Preliminarily, detectives believe the shooting occurred inside the victim’s vehicle and this was not a random act. Detectives continue to investigate to identify a suspect involved.
