Detectives Investigate Bias Material Found in Wolf Trap Neighborhood

McLean Police District – Officers and detectives from the McLean Police District are investigating numerous reports of suspicious flyers portraying bias material distributed in a Wolf Trap neighborhood.

Officers are canvassing the area and asking community members to review home surveillance footage. Surveillance footage can be posted for detectives to view via Neighbors by Ring. Anyone with information can please call the McLean Police District at 703-556-7750.

The Fairfax County Police Department has increased patrols and visibility around our houses of worship and reached out to many faith-based communities. While there is currently no specific threat within our community, we are continuing to collect additional information about this incident. We will continue to maintain a presence to support our faith-based community.
