UPDATE: Man Faces Additional Charges for Possession of Child Pornography
Fairfax, VA – Detectives from our Major Crimes Bureau, Child Exploitation Unit, charged a man with multiple counts of possession of Child Sexual Abuse Material (CSAM).
On November 17, detectives arrested Craig Strasbourger, a 31-year-old resident of Tysons, with charges related to automatic weapons. After conducting a thorough investigation on devices belonging to Strasbourger, detectives obtained additional warrants for three counts of Possession of Child Sexual Abuse Material, one count of Solicitation of a Minor, and one count Possession of Animal Sexual Abuse Material. Strasbouger was arrested and is currently being held at the Fairfax County Adult Detention Center without bond.

Arrested Man Faces Charges for Illegal Machine Guns and Suspected Possession of Child Pornography
Fairfax, VA – Detectives from our Major Crimes Bureau, Child Exploitation Unit, arrested a man with illegal machine guns after a cyber tip.
In September, detectives received a cyber tip from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children National Center for Missing and Exploited Children indicating that Craig Strasbourger, a 31-year-old resident of Vienna, was engaged in sexual communication with an underage individual from Kentucky. Detectives successfully traced the Internet Protocol (IP) address to the 2100 block of Robin Way Court in Vienna.

At 5:30 a.m. today, detectives, in collaboration with our SWAT team, carried out a search warrant at Strasbourger’s residence, leading to his arrest. During the operation, detectives confiscated four unlawfully modified rifles and various computer devices from the premises.

Following his arrest, Strasbourger was transported to the Fairfax County Adult Detention and charged with four counts of Unlawful Possession of a Machine Gun. He is currently held on a $4,000 secured bond, with additional charges pending.
