Detectives Seek Assistance to ID Suspects in Attempted Burglary of Gun Stores

Fairfax County, VA – Detectives from our Criminal Investigations Division are investigating two attempted gun store burglaries at locations in Springfield and Lorton.

On July 4 at 5:45 a.m., officers responded to a burglary alarm at Dominion Defense located at 7200 Fullerton Road in Springfield. Officers observed shattered glass from the store’s window.  The three suspects were unable to get in the store and fled before officers arrived. Detectives obtained the below images of the suspects from the attempted burglary.

On July 7 at 2:50 a.m., the below suspects were seen on security footage at Dominion Defense surveilling the business before leaving for another gun store in the area.

On July 7 at 3:50 a.m., officers responded to Sharpshooters located at 8194 Terminal Road in Lorton for a burglary alarm. Officers observed security footage that showed the two same suspects from Dominion Defense arrive in an unknown vehicle and approach the business. The suspects were seen breaking the window but fled once the alarm sounded.
