Nearly 160 Neighborhoods Celebrate Safety and Community at National Night Out
Fairfax County, VA – Last night, nearly 160 neighborhoods across Fairfax County participated in a spectacular National Night Out event. From community cookouts to exciting games, the Fairfax County Police Department (FCPD) joined thousands of residents to strengthen our commitment to crime prevention and community unity.

Every summer the FCPD eagerly anticipates National Night Out, held on the first Tuesday of August. It’s a nationwide effort to enhance relationships between neighbors and police officers, promoting a united front against crime.

Our officers enjoyed attending these events, engaging with residents, and building lasting connections.
