FCPD’s ‘Safe July’ Initiative Achieves Significant Results
Fairfax County, VA – In July, FCPD officers removed 39 impaired drivers and issued over 650 traffic charges for unsafe driving as part of the Summer Crime Prevention Initiative.

This year, the initiative focused on reducing impaired driving and promoting safe driving behaviors throughout Fairfax County. Officers from all eight district stations worked alongside our DWI Enforcement Squad increasing enforcement efforts and were strategically deployed based on crime analyst data to target high-risk areas.
