UPDATE: Suspect Identified and Charged for Sexual Battery

McLean Police District– Detectives have identified and charged a suspect for a sexual battery that occurred inside a department store in May.

On September 3, officers responded to the 1500 block of Cornerside Boulevard in Tysons for a report of an exposure. Officers learned that Kendall Jamal Miller, 22, of McLean, had been in the store exposing himself and attempting to touch customers inappropriately. Detectives later linked Miller to an exposure case that occurred on May 25.

Millerwas taken into custody and charged with one count of Sexual Battery for the May 25 incident. He was taken to the Fairfax County Adult Detention Center where he was later released on an unsecured bond.

Detectives continue to investigate the September 3 incident and additional charges are pending.

Detectives Seek Help in Identifying Man Who Exposed Himself in Store

McLean Police District – Detectives from our Major Crimes Bureau are seeking the community’s help identifying a man who exposed himself to a victim at a store in Tysons.

On May 25, at 2:00 p.m., officers responded to a sex offense case at an off-price retailer in the 8300 block of Leesburg Pike in Tysons. Officers learned while the victim was shopping, a male suspect followed her and exposed himself. The suspect then fled the store before police arrival.

Officers were able to view security footage which showed the suspect following the victim and exposing himself. The suspect was described as a black man, 5’9” -5’11”, and in his 20’s. Below are still images of the suspect:
