Detectives Seek Community’s Help Following Gun Store Burglary

West Springfield Police District – Detectives from our Criminal Investigations Division and the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives, are asking for the community’s assistance after an overnight burglary at a gun store in Springfield.

On September 18 at approximately 2:38 a.m., officers responded to a burglary that had just occurred at 7200 Fullerton Road at Dominion Defense in Springfield. Security footage captured four masked individuals force entry into the business through the front door. The suspects took 14 firearms before exiting the store and fleeing the area in a white Kia Soul.

Detectives are asking anyone with information regarding this incident or others to call our detectives at our West Springfield District Station at 703-644-7377 option 2. The Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF) Washington Field Division and the National Sports Shooting Foundation (NSSF) are each offering an additional $5,000 for any additional information about this case, bringing the total eligible reward amount up to $15,000.
