Child Exploitation Detectives Arrest Man After Soliciting a Minor
Fairfax County, VA – Detectives from our Cyber and Forensics Division have arrested a man on multiple charges related to the solicitation of a minor.

On November 1, the parents of a 15-year-old reported to police their child had been solicited for sex by a suspect in October. Detectives began investigating and determined that Logan Russell Farrell, 38, from Maryland approached the victim and offered money for sexual acts at the Spring Hill Metro Station in Tysons. Farrell at the time of the encounter was a stranger to the victim. Afterwards, Farrell continued communicating with the victim soliciting sexual acts and illicit pictures.
On November 2, Farrell was arrested and charged with Trafficking of a Minor, Production of Child Pornography, and four counts of Solicitation of a Minor. He is currently being held at the Fairfax County Adult Detention Center on no bond.
