Man Arrested for Possession of Child Pornography

Fairfax County, VA – Detectives from our Major Crimes Bureau Child Exploitation Unit have charged a man on multiple counts relating to the possession and production of Child Sexual Abuse Material (CSAM).

On November 28, detectives received a CyberTip from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children involving a suspect uploading CSAM. Detectives from Child Exploitation Unit assumed the investigation and learned that Danh Nguyen, 31, of Annandale distributed Child Sexual Abuse Material (CSAM). During the investigation, detectives uncovered electronic evidence of CSAM on devices belonging to Nguyen.

Nguyen was arrested and charged with fifteen counts of Possession of Child Pornography. He is being held at the Fairfax County Adult Detention Center on no bond.
