Carjacking in Annandale Ends with Arrest Near Tysons
Mason Police District – Detectives from our Major Crimes Bureau have charged a 24-year-old man with armed carjacking.
On February 5 around 7:32 p.m., officers responded to the 7000 block of Columbia Pike in Annandale for a carjacking. The victims reported that a suspect had displayed a gun and demanded they get out of the car. The victims exited their vehicle then the suspect fled in their 2020 Chevrolet Trax before officers arrived. No one was injured.
Officers located the vehicle a short time later and took the suspect into custody near Tysons.
Officers arrested Knorr Hunter, 24, of no fixed address, and he was charged with Carjacking and Use of a Firearm in the Commission of a Felony. He was taken to the Fairfax County Adult Detention Center and was held on no bond.
