Reston Police District –Detectives from our Major Crimes Bureau’s Child Abuse Squad have arrested a Dogwood Elementary School substitute teacher for assaulting a student. On September 25, 2024, Child Protective Services received a referral that a substitute teacher had assaulted a student at school. The student sustained minor injuries.
