UPDATE: One Arrest Made in December Annandale Burglary: Additional Suspects Still Sought

Fairfax County, VA – Detectives from our Criminal Investigations Division have charged a woman in connection to a residential burglary that occurred in December 2024 in Annandale.

On December 27, 2024, at 2:48 p.m., officers responded to a burglary alarm in the 3300 block of Elm Terrace in Annandale. A homeowner reported seeing two suspects enter her home on surveillance. After an audible alarm sounded, the suspects fled before officers arrived.

Through their investigation, detectives were able to identify Alesssandra Ciuciu, 25, of no fixed address, as one of the suspects involved. Detectives obtained a warrant for burglary and continue to pursue leads to identify the remaining individuals connected to the case.

On June 10, the Montgomery County Police Department encountered Ciuciu and arrested her on the outstanding burglary warrant. She was arrested and transported to the Montgomery County Correctional Facility, where she is being held on no bond and is awaiting extradition back to Fairfax County.

Detectives are still working to identify the remaining suspects involved in this case.

Mason Police District – Detectives from our Criminal Investigations Division are seeking the community’s help in identifying suspects who burglarized a home in Annandale.

On December 27, at 2:48 p.m., officers responded to the 3300 block of Elm Terrace in Annandale for a residential burglary alarm. The complainant reported seeing two suspects enter her home on surveillance cameras. After activating an audible alarm, the suspects fled prior to police arrival. Detectives responded to assume the investigation.

Detectives obtained security footage which shows the suspects and the vehicle involved in the burglary.
