Burgers, Badges, and Block Parties: National Night Out 2025

Fairfax County, VA- National Night Out is more than a yearly event — it’s a celebration of community, connection, and our shared commitment to building safer neighborhoods.

This year, National Night Out is Tuesday, August 5, and the Fairfax County Police Department (FCPD) is proud to once again team up with our public safety partners to take part. From cookouts to parades, ice cream socials to neighborhood block parties, we’ll be out in full force—visiting community events across the county and strengthening the relationships that help keep our neighborhoods safe.

Why it matters:
National Night Out is a nationwide effort to promote community and police partnerships. It’s a chance for residents to meet their local officers in a fun, relaxed setting — and for FCPD to show up in the spirit of partnership, prevention, and public safety.
