No More Blending In: Woman With 16 Warrants Arrested For Stealing Ninja Slushis

Mount Vernon Police District– An officer from the Mount Vernon Police District has arrested a woman responsible for stealing more than a dozen Ninja Slushi appliances from stores across Fairfax County, totaling over $10,000 in theft over the past year.

On August 24, shortly after 6 a.m., an officer was conducting traffic enforcement on Russell Road in Hybla Valley when they observed a rental van driving suspiciously and committing a traffic violation. The officer conducted a traffic stop and located two women inside of the van.

The passenger initially provided a false name to law enforcement. She was later identified as Christine Woodson, 31, of no fixed address, who was wanted on 16 active arrest warrants.

Detectives from our Springfield Town Center Shopping Center Unit worked closely with store loss prevention and determined Woodson was responsible for multiple thefts across Fairfax County. She primarily targeted Target stores, often stealing Ninja Slushi machines and fleeing in a vehicle before officers arrived.
