Sergeant on Administrative Leave Following Intoxication in Public Arrest

Fairfax County, VA – Last night, an off-duty Fairfax County Police Department Sergeant was arrested by the Town of Leesburg Police Department on a charge of Drunk in Public.

On November 1, the Leesburg Police Department arrested Sergeant Brett Choyce, 43, of Hamilton, a 23-year veteran of the department, who was off-duty at the time of the incident.

 The Sergeant has been placed on administrative leave pending the outcome of an Internal Affairs Bureau Investigation.
