Detectives Investigate Fatal Pedestrian Crash in Fair Oaks
Fair Oaks Police District— Detectives from our Crash Reconstruction Unit (CRU) are investigating a fatal pedestrian crash in Fair Oaks.
On November 11, at 6:39 p.m., officers responded to a crash involving a pedestrian at Route 29 and Forum Drive in Fair Oaks.
Officers determined that the driver of a 2018 BMW was traveling northbound on Route 29 approaching Forum Drive. The pedestrian, Nicole Ayilola, 33, of Fairfax, was crossing the road when she was struck by the vehicle. Ayilola was transported to a local hospital in life-threatening condition and later pronounced deceased. The driver of the BMW was uninjured and remained on scene.
Alcohol and speed do not appear to be factors in the crash. The circumstances surrounding the crash are still being investigated.
