Update: Woman in Custody After Domestic-Related Homicide in McNair
Fair Oaks Police District— A woman is in custody after fatally stabbing her mother in McNair.
On November 18, at 10:00 a.m., officers responded to the 2300 block of Dulles Station Boulevard in McNair for a suspicious death. The complainant, a caretaker, reported that she arrived at her patient’s residence and found her unresponsive. Officers arrived and located Norma Little, 79, of Herndon, with stab wounds to the upper body. She was declared deceased at the scene.
Detectives from our Major Crimes Bureau responded and immediately conducted interviews, collected video surveillance, and processed evidence. The investigation identified the victim’s daughter, Helena Little, 31, of Herndon, as the suspect.
On November 20, at 3:00 p.m., detectives arrested Little in the 1800 block of Metro Center Drive in Reston. Little was transported to the Fairfax County Adult Detention Center and charged with Second Degree Murder. She is being held on no bond.

Fair Oaks Police District— Detectives from our Major Crimes Bureau are actively investigating a homicide that occurred yesterday in McNair. It is not suspected to be a random act.
