Man Arrested in Possession of a Stolen Firearm
McLean Police District- Detectives from our Tysons Urban Team (TUT) have arrested a man after he was found in possession of a stolen firearm.

On November 28, at 6:42 p.m., detectives were alerted to a larceny in the 1900 block of Chain Bridge Road in Tysons. Our officers learned that Loss Prevention officers had observed the suspect concealing items and left the before being apprehended.
Upon taking custody of Makio Smith, 18, of Washington, D.C., detectives determined that he was in possession of a firearm and confirmed it had been stolen from Prince George’s County, Maryland.
Smith was arrested and transported to the Fairfax County Adult Detention Center. He was charged with Possession of a Stolen Firearm, Concealed Weapon Violation, Grand Larceny, Petit Larceny, Larceny with Intent to Distribute, Conspiracy to Commit a Felony, and Felony Facemask. He is being held without bond.
