FCPD Officer on Administrative Leave Following DUI Arrest

Fairfax County, VA – Last night, an off-duty Fairfax County Police Department officer, assigned to the Mount Vernon District was arrested on a charge of Driving Under the Influence.

On December 23, officers from the DWI Squad arrested Austin Wilkerson, 26, of Springfield, a 4-year veteran of the department, who was off-duty at the time of the incident.

The officer has been placed on administrative leave pending the outcome of an Internal Affairs Bureau Investigation.
