Detectives Seek Suspects in Multiple ATM Burglaries; Cash Reward Offered
Fairfax County, VA- Detectives from our Criminal Investigations Division are asking for the community’s help in identifying suspects responsible for multiple ATM burglaries in the county.
On February 27, at 2:12 a.m., officers responded to the 7-Eleven located at 5834 North Kings Highway in Huntington for a commercial burglary alarm. Officers located damage to the front door and noticed the ATM had been damaged.
Officers reviewed surveillance footage and observed three masked men force entry into the closed business and gain access into an ATM with an orange and black colored hydraulic tool. The suspects stole ATM cassettes containing cash before fleeing in a black Dodge Durango.

Following the February 27 burglary, two additional burglaries occurred. In both incidents, suspects forced entry into the closed businesses and used a hydraulic tool in an attempt to open an ATM:
- March 3, 4:51 a.m.- Walgreens located at 3050A Nutley Street in Merrifield. An employee, monitoring live surveillance cameras, observed two suspects enter the store and use a hydraulic tool to steal from an ATM. The suspects stole an ATM cassette with cash and fled in a black sedan.
- March 3, 5:08 a.m. – Sunoco located at 2210 Gallows Road in Dunn Loring. An employee arrived for work and observed two masked men attempting to steal from the ATM. The suspects were unsuccessful, and fled in a black Infiniti sedan, leaving behind a crowbar and an orange and black colored hydraulic tool.
Detectives believe the same suspects are responsible for all three incidents.
