Update to Homicide in Alexandria

The victim of the homicide in the 5300 block of Bedford Terrace has been identified as 51-year-old, Raymond A. White, of no fixed address. Police have charged Jessica R. Deneal-Whalen, 27 of Alexandria with 2nd Degree Murder.   After a night-long investigation, detectives determined the victim and suspect were together at the residence and Whalen became upset and assaulted White.

Major Crimes Division detectives continue their investigation into the murder of Johan de Leede. On Friday, March 11, shortly after 1 a.m., officers responded to 6017 River Drive for a report of an unresponsive man.
