Update: Body Found in Woodlawn Park Positively Identified as Jholie Moussa

Mount Vernon Police District – Our homicide detectives were able to confirm the identity of the body found in Woodlawn Park Friday as missing 16-year-old Jholie Moussa, during an autopsy at the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner. The autopsy results are pending. At this time, we believe this is an isolated incident. We are continuing to investigate every lead.

Detectives Release Composite Sketch After Possible Attempted Abduction

Mount Vernon Police District – Detectives are releasing a composite sketch of a man they believed was involved in the possible attempted abduction of a child.  The preliminary investigation shows that an 8-year-old girl got off her school bus last Wednesday near the intersection of Frye Road and Madge Lane in the Alexandria area of Fairfax County around 5:15 p.m.

UPDATE: Body Found in Woodlawn Park Appears to be Missing 16-Year-Old; Homicide Investigation Underway
