Mount Vernon Police District – Two officers were proactively patrolling on foot in the 7900 block of Audubon Avenue on Monday, March 27. Around 11:30 p.m., they came across a group of people who appeared to be drinking beer. As they approached to investigate, one man turned and ran. As he fled, officers saw him throw something into nearby bushes.
