West Springfield Police District – Our Crash Reconstruction Unit detectives are currently investigating a fatal pedestrian collision. A preliminary investigation revealed a 33-year-old man was hit shortly around 10:50 last night while sitting in the service road near 7611 Little River Turnpike. The driver of a 2016 Toyota Highlander was traveling westbound on the service road when the crash occurred.
