Reston Police District – An 87-year-old man was pronounced deceased following a fatal pedestrian crash near the intersection of Reston Parkway and Market Street in Reston yesterday. Preliminarily, detectives from our Crash Reconstruction Unit (CRU) determined Peter McCandless, of Reston was attempting to cross the southbound lanes of Reston Parkway from west to east at Market Street just after 7 a.m.
