UPDATE: Pursuit Suspect Named; Charges Obtained

The motorcyclist involved in the traffic pursuit yesterday evening (Friday, November 11) was Anders N. Kinsler, 20, of Sterling. He was charged with reckless driving and eluding police by a Fairfax County officer. The officer initially attempted to stop the motorcycle for not having  registration displayed on the vehicle. Lengthy Traffic Pursuit Ends in Successful Arrest

Sully Police District – Around 4:35 p.m. today, a patrol officer attempted to stop a motorcycle for a traffic violation. The rider failed to yield to the officer and a traffic pursuit began. Sully Police District – Detectives are seeking the public’s assistance in locating a critical missing man who suffers from dementia and other medical conditions that require medication. James “Rufus” Thompson, 78, was last seen in the 4000 block of Majestic Lane in Chantilly on Monday, September 12, at about 10 p.m. He was discovered missing this morning around 8 a.m.
