Arrest Made in Woodlawn Homicide

Mount Vernon Police District – Last night, detectives from our Fugitive Track and Apprehension Unit arrested Kevin Alexander Lemus, 18, of Alexandria. Detectives determined Lemus got into an argument with Darlin Ariel Diaz Flores on Saturday night. The argument escalated to a physical confrontation. Lemus fatally shot Darlin then ran from the area. Elementary School Assistant from Centreville Arrested for Assaulting a Special Needs Student

Reston Police District – FCPD Detectives from our Major Crimes Bureau’s Child Abuse Squad have charged a 60-year-old instructional assistant for assaulting a juvenile student. The incident in question occurred on September 16, 2022, at Dogwood Elementary School in Reston, Virginia. Specifically, two teachers walked into their classroom and witnessed Mark MacDicken of Centreville VA, assaulting a special needs student.

Man Arrested for Three Commercial Robberies

Franconia Police District – A 19-year-old Lorton man has been arrested for a series of commercial robberies. At 11:48 a.m. on Aug. 27, Anis Sesay entered the Tobacco Hut, 6844 Franconia Road, Springfield. Sesay assaulted the clerk and took money.
