Update – Cause and Manner of Inmate’s Death Released

The Office of the Chief Medical Examiner has informed detectives with our Major Crimes Division that it has determined that the cause of death of Kelly Maurice Scott was “Acute Peritonitis due to Perforated Duodenal Ulcer” and the manner of death was “Natural.” The final autopsy report is not yet complete.
