Help Us Find a Missing Adult from Springfield

Franconia Police District – We are asking for the public’s assistance in locating 32-year-old Gabriel O’Connor. He was last seen around 09:30 a.m. on Friday, June 17, near the 6700 block of Spring Road in Springfield. He is about 6 feet 1 inch tall and weighs around 210 pounds. Man Charged with Animal Cruelty

On Friday, May 27 around 5:30 p.m. a male dropped off a mixed Pitbull breed female dog at the Fairfax County Animal Shelter (FCAS). The dog, “Zili,” was approximately 11 months old and extremely emaciated. She was transported to an emergency veterinarian and received medical treatment. On June 1, Zili passed away due to her condition. A necropsy was completed
