Bank Robbery in the McLean Area

Suspect Flees on Bicycle

McLean Police District – Police are investigating a bank robbery that occurred Tuesday, August 5 at around 11:25 a.m. A man entered the United Bank, located at 7787 Leesburg Pike, threatened a weapon and demanded money. The bank teller complied and the suspect fled with an undisclosed amount of cash. There were no injuries.

The suspect was described as black with a dreadlocks hairstyle. He wore jeans and a shirt with horizontal grey-blue colored stripes. The suspect fled the scene on a bicycle.
