ATTEMPTED ROBBERY, 2000 block of International Drive, 04/16/15, 12:31 a.m. A man approached the doorway of a restaurant, displayed a knife to an employee and demanded money. The victim called police and the suspect fled. The victim did not require medical attention. The suspect was described as white, 20s, about 5 feet 4 inches tall, wearing white gloves, a blue hoodie and gray sweat pants.

BURGLARY, 5100 block of Leesburg Pike, 04/21/15. An employee reported someone entered the business and took property.
BURGLARY, 3000 Annandale Road, 04/21/15. An employee reported someone entered the business and took property.

RECKLESS DRIVING/SPEED TO ELUDE/CHILD ENDANGERMENT. Richmond Highway/Hassett Street, 04/20/15, 10:35 a.m. An officer attempted to stop a vehicle for a traffic violation. The driver failed to stop and attempted to elude the officer. Officers pursued the suspect and the Precision Immobilization Technique (PIT) was utilized bringing the pursuit to an end near the 10000 block of Furnace Road. The driver was arrested and a 1 year old child was discovered in the backseat of the vehicle. The child did not require require rescue. Roger Garcia, 31, of Woodbridge, was charged with reckless driving; disregarding an officer’s signal to stop, and felony child endangerment.
