DIRECTED PATROL, 05/22/15. Officers from the Operation Support Bureau patrolled the county for drunk drivers. Four drivers were charged with DWI and twenty-five summonses were issued.

BURGLARY, 2300 block of Riverview Terrace, 05/26/15. A resident reported someone entered the residence and took property.

ATTEMPTED ROBBERY, Cottage Street/Bucknell Drive, 05/22/15 around 3:45 p.m. The victim was walking and was approached by a man from behind. The suspect attempted to take the victim’s purse but the victim resisted. The suspect fled in a vehicle. Officers located the suspect and arrested him. Wilian A. Cruz Garcia, 20, of Falls Church was charged with attempted robbery. The victim did not require medical attention.
BURGLARY, 7800 block of Calpurnia Court, 05/23/15. A resident reported someone entered the residence and took property.

BURGLARY OF AN OCCUPIED DWELLING, 12800 block of Pinecrest Road, 05/23/15, around 3:29 a.m. The victims were awakened by noises coming from the lower floor of their residence. One of the victims yelled causing the suspect to flee. The victims did not require medical attention.
BURGLARY WITH APPREHENSION, 12900 block of Pinecrest Road, 05/23/15, around 3:39 a.m. The victims heard noises from the basement of the residence and called police. Officers located the suspect and arrested him. A 17 year old juvenile was charged with burglary. The victims did not require medical attention.

STOLEN VEHICLE WITH APPREHENSION, Pleasantree Court near Saffron Drive, 05/23/15, around 6:30 a.m. An officer on patrol located a stolen vehicle. Officers were able to stop the vehicle before it could leave. The driver, a 17 year old juvenile was arrested and charged with grand larceny of an auto.
