ROBBERY: 6100 block of North Kings Highway, 09/03/15 at about 8:42 a.m. Two men entered a store, displayed a handgun and demanded money from an employee. The suspects took cash and property and fled. The victim did not require medical attention. The suspects were described as black males in their 20s.
GRAFFITI / BIAS CRIME: 6500 block of Fort Hunt Road, 09/03/15 at about 9:12 a.m. It was reported that numerous swastikas and writing were found on the doors of a religious building.

BURGLARY OF AN OCCUPIED DWELLING: 2200 block of Mclean Park Rd., 09/03/15 at about 3:23 a.m. A homeowner awoke to the noise of footsteps in her home. She saw a white male, in his 20’s, with dark hair and dark clothing in a hallway. The suspect ran out of the home and nothing was taken. The victim did not need any medical attention.

BURGLARY / STOLEN VEHICLE: 12900 block of New Parkland Drive, 09/03/15 at about 7:25 a.m. A resident reported his vehicle had been stolen and the keys were missing from a purse inside the home. There was no suspect information at the time of the report.

WEST SPRINGFIELD DISTRICT STATION

7900 block of Donegal Lane, license plate from vehicle
8400 block of Old Keene Mill Road, beverage from business
STOLEN VEHICLE WITH APPREHENSION: Fairfax County Parkway/Lee Highway, 09/03/15 at about 11:40 p.m. An officer stopped a vehicle for a traffic violation. The driver exited the vehicle and fled on foot into a wooded area. After a short foot pursuit, the juvenile driver was taken into custody and it was determined the car was stolen from Reston earlier in the day. The 17 year old male juvenile was treated for non-life-threatening injuries and was charged with receiving stolen property, resisting arrest and reckless driving.
BURGLARY: 11200 block of Waples Mill Road, 09/03/15 at about 3:09 p.m. An employee reported that medications were stolen from a business.
