GENERAL INFORMATION
The Fair Oaks District Police Station at 12300 Lee Jackson Memorial Highway will be holding an Open House this Saturday from 11:00 – 4:00 p.m. Don’t forget to bring canned goods to fill the cruiser with donations for local food banks.

14400 block of Golden Oak Court, property from residence
ROBBERY: 6300 block of Richmond Highway, 10/07/15 at about 12:59 a.m. The victim was walking and was assaulted. Following the assault, money was taken from his pockets. The victim did not sustain any physical injury and could not provide a description of the suspect.

BURGLARY: 7500 block of Leesburg Pike, 10/06/15 at about 2:40 a.m. An unknown person entered a business and took property.

ROBBERY: 4800 block of Beauregard Street, 10/06/15 at about 12:28 p.m. A man walked into a business, displayed a gun and demanded money. The victim relinquished and the suspect fled on foot. The victim was not physically injured in the event. The suspect was described as a black male, about 35 years of age, 6 feet tall, wearing all black clothing.

DISORDERLY CONDUCT/ASSAULT ON LAW ENFORCEMENT: 12000 block of Lake Newport Road, 10/06/15 at about 8:10 p.m. While investigating a hit and run, one of the involved subjects became irate and spat in an officer’s face. She attempted to kick the officers and was taken into custody. Jennifer Escobar Chinchilla, 21, of Reston was charged with disorderly conduct, possession of marijuana and assault on law enforcement officer.

ROBBERY: 5700 block of Backlick Road, 10/02/15 at about 10:30 a.m. The victim was sitting in a vehicle and was approached by two men. One suspect produced a gun and demanded the victim’s property. The victim relinquished what he had and the suspects fled. The suspect was not physically injured during the event. There was no description of the suspects.

DISORDERLY CONDUCT: 13000 Fair Lakes Shopping Center, 10/06/15 at about 5:06 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a sex offense in a department store. Investigation revealed that a man allegedly looked up a woman’s dress. The suspect was located and charges are pending.
