Help Us Identify a Commercial Burglary Suspect
ROBBERY: 5981 Columbia Pike, 04/12/16, 1:09 p.m. Two men entered the store and displayed handguns. Nothing was taken. Both suspects were described as black males. One suspect was described as approximately 5 feet 9 inches tall, wearing a black ski mask, and a grey leather jacket. The investigation is ongoing.
SUSPICIOUS EVENT: 5800 block of Glen Forest Drive, 04/09/16, 4:15 p.m. A resident received correspondence that was of lewd nature. A report was made and the investigation is ongoing.

WEST SPRINGFIELD DISTRICT STATION
ROBBERY WITH APPREHENSION, 8500 block of Bauer Drive, 04/11/16 around 11:22 p.m. The victim was walking along the sidewalk behind an apartment building and was approached by a man. The suspect grabbed the victim, took her property, and fled. The victim resisted and was able to retrieve her property prior to calling police. The victim did not incur physical injuries. Officers located the suspect and arrested him. Mohammed Alariqi, 20, of Springfield, was charged with robbery, trespassing, and drunk in public.

SUSPICIOUS EVENT: 5035 Sideburn Road, 04/06/16, 4:46 p.m. Two students at Robinson High School reported to a school principal that a 14-year-old female was communicating with an adult male on the internet regarding having sex. The principal notified the school resource officer and an investigation was launched. Detectives have established the possibility that the adult male works at the Mott Center, 12111 Braddock Road, Fairfax, which hosts afterschool activities. The Mott Center falls under the purview of the Fairfax County Department of Neighborhood and Community Services (NCS). No arrests have been made and the investigation is ongoing.
