HATE/BIAS CRIME: 3100 block of Row Street (Dar al-Hijrah Mosque), 2/28/17, around 5:45 p.m. Police responded for a report of an employee who received an envelope that had bias language written on it. The postmark appeared to be from another country. Detectives are looking into the incident.

ROBBERY: 9200 block of Heather Ridge Court, 2/28/17, around 7:45 p.m. A 22-year-old man was walking to his car from his apartment when a man approached him from behind, grabbed his shoulder and implied he had a weapon. The suspect threatened the victim and demanded cash and property. The victim complied and the suspect ran off in an unknown direction. There is no description of the suspect as the victim did not get a chance to see him.
BURGLARY: 6000 block of Piney Woods Court, 2/28/17, around 7 a.m. A homeowner reported that someone entered the open garage overnight and took property from two cars.
