ROBBERY: 7100 block of Richmond Highway. 3/4/17, 10:25 p.m. The victim walked out of his apartment building when he was approached by three black males; one displaying a handgun. They threatened the victim and demanded money and a cell phone from him. The victim refused and began to struggle with the suspects. He managed to get the gun (which was a BB gun) from them and the suspects ran away. The victim was taken to a local hospital and treated for minor injuries. There was no further description of the suspects.
ROBBERY: 6600 block of Tower Drive. 3/5/17, 7:13 p.m. Two men were walking on Tower Drive when they were approached by two suspects; one Hispanic, one black. The suspects threatened the victims and demanded money, but no weapon was seen. The victims handed over an undisclosed amount of cash and they were not injured. The suspects fled toward Beacon Hill Shopping Center.

STOLEN VEHICLES:
2700 block of Arlington Drive, 2012 Subaru Impreza
ROBBERY: 6600 block of Lawndale Drive. 3/3/17, 7:06 p.m. The victim left his apartment and was walking to a nearby service station when he was approached by two men; one black, one Hispanic. The suspects threatened the victim and demanded that he give them his wallet and cell phone. The victim refused and was then assaulted by both suspects. Four additional suspects eventually joined in the assault. The suspects eventually took jewelry and electronics form the victim. He was treated at the scene by Fairfax County Fire and Rescue Department personnel.There was no further description of the suspects.
RECKLESS DISCHARGE OF A FIREARM: 8600 block of Westwood Center Drive. Officers responded for a call of shots being fired in the parking lot of Babalu. They determined that a fight had broken out and that a black male had fired several rounds into the air, from a handgun. He then got into an unidentified car and left the scene. Nobody was injured. The suspect was in his 20s with long dreadlocks.

BURGLARY: 12100 block of Tryton Way, 3/3/17 between 3 a.m. and 3:20 a.m. Someone gained access to the home using a garage door opener that was left inside an unlocked car. A purse and wallet were reported missing.
BURGLARY: 1700 block of Beaver Circle, between 11 p.m. 3/3/17 and 7 a.m. 3/4/17. Entry was gained through a door. Small electronics were reported missing.

INDECENT EXPOSURE: 6700 block of Springfield Mall, 3/5/17 around 5:30 p.m. A man was charged for exposing himself to a 47-year-old woman in the mall parking lot. The suspect drove up next to the victim as she was walking and spoke to her. When she looked over, she saw him touching himself inappropriately and called police. Officers identified the suspect and obtained a misdemeanor warrant for indecent exposure. Satyajit Nadkami, 39, of Alexandria, met officers at the Franconia District Station later that night and the warrant was served. Nadkami was not taken into custody; no mug shot is available.

WEST SPRINGFIELD DISTRICT STATION
BURGLARY: 8500 block of Groveland Drive, between 3 p.m. 3/2/17 and 3 p.m. 3/3/17. Electronic items and apparel were reported missing. There did not appear to be signs of forced entry.
