14th National Prescription Drug Take Back Day: Operation Medicine Cabinet Cleanout

We are once again partnering with the Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) in National Drug Take Back Day. This event will take place this Saturday, October 28 from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., and allows for the safe and confidential disposal of prescription drugs. Our department will have eight drop off and disposal sites across the county at all district police stations in the lobby. We encourage everyone to take some time and go through their medicine cabinets to see if they have any old, unused, or expired prescriptions. If so, bring them to your local station and have them disposed of in a FREE, convenient, and confidential way.

Overall, in its 13 previous Take Back events, DEA and its partners have taken in over 8.1 million pounds of pills.
