RECKLESS DISCHARGE: 3500 block of South Jefferson Street, 05/11/18, 12:20 a.m. Officers responded for reports of gunshots in the area. As officers investigated the incident, they recovered 17 shell casings in the parking lot of the Babylon Café. There were no injuries.

WEST SPRINGFIELD DISTRICT STATION
NARCOTICS VIOLATION: Fenestra Court and Broken Oak Place, 05/09/18, 11:30 p.m. Officers from the NPU (Neighborhood Patrol Unit) performed a traffic stop. While speaking with the driver, officers detected the odor of marijuana. A search revealed over a half pound of marijuana, marijuana edibles, liquid THC oil, additional paraphernalia, and $360.00 in cash. Marqueice Johnson, 22, of Lorton, and Baeshawn Johnson, 21, of Burke, were charged with possession of marijuana with intent to distribute, and possession of a schedule 1 narcotic (THC oil).
