ROBBERY: 5300 block of Sully Station Drive, 9/29/2018, 12:19 p.m. A 17-year-old was standing by his car when a man approached him from behind and put a knife to his back and demanded his wallet. The suspect took the victim’s wallet and ran off. He’s described as 6 feet tall, 200 pounds, wearing a dark blue hooded sweatshirt and dark jeans.
PURSUIT / NARCOTICS VIOLATION: Braddock Road and Union Mill Road, 9/30/2018, 9:33 p.m. An officer initiated a traffic stop for a moving violation when the car drove off. After a short, low-speed pursuit the driver eventually stopped the car. Joshua Figueroa, 37, of Annandale, was charged with eluding police and no front license plate. Luis Castillo, 26, of Bristow, was charged with possession of marijuana

ASSAULT ON LAW ENFORCEMENT / GRAND LARCENY: 7910 Richmond Highway (Walmart), 9/27/18 9:15 p.m. Officers responded for a larceny at the Walmart. Luther Bullock, 44, of Washington, D.C., was arrested for Grand Larceny after attempting to steal over $1,000 worth of merchandise. During the incident, 48-year-old Blair Rush, of Washington, D.C., intervened and attempted to obstruct the investigation. While she was being handcuffed, she bit and kicked an officer. The officer was not injured. Ms. Rush was charged with assault on law enforcement, obstruction of justice, and providing false name to avoid arrest. Mr. Bullock was charged with grand larceny.

STOLEN AUTO / PURSUIT: Richmond Highway and Fort Hunt Road, 9/28/2018, 10:45 a.m. An officer spotted a stolen vehicle driving south on Richmond Highway at Fort Hunt Road. A pursuit started when the stolen car sped away, hit a citizen’s car, and crashed afterwards. The suspect ran from the car but was caught after a brief foot pursuit. 22 year-old Michael McDonald was charged with grand larceny, eluding, suspended license and providing a false name to avoid arrest.

BURGLARY / DESTRUCTION OF PROPERTY: 3800 block of El Camino Place, between 9/26/2018 and 9/28/2018. The property manager of a vacant apartment noticed that the front door of an apartment had been kicked in. It appeared that people had been staying in the vacant apartment temporarily, and damaged it before leaving.
ROBBERY: 6000 block of Richmond Highway, 9/28/2018, 2:20 a.m. Two victims were waiting for the elevator at their apartment complex when a man approached them, pointing a black handgun and demanding money. The suspect then took cash from the victims before running away. The suspect was described as a black male, 5’5’”, around 130 pounds.
UNLAWFUL ENTRY: 5600 block of Kathryn Street, 9/29/2018, between 4:00 a.m. and 6:00 a.m. The homeowner noticed that her rear sliding glass door was open and their rear motion light was on. The door had been locked the night prior and the homeowners were sleeping at the time of the burglary. Nothing appeared to be missing.

BURGLARY: 1572 Spring Hill Road (Enterprise) between 9/29/2018 and 9/30/2018. Employees arrived to open the business when they found the front glass door had been smashed. An SUV was stolen from the business.

ROBBERY: 1200 block of Greywing Sqaure, on 9/28/2018, 1:30 p.m. The victim was walking the pathway near Hunters Woods Shopping Center. He was approached by a man who asked for money. When the victim told him that he did not have any money, the suspect assaulted him and took personal items from the victim. The suspect was described as a white male approximately 5’11” – 6’2” and about 150 – 180 pounds.

PURSUIT: I495NB and South Van Dorn Street, 9/29/2018, 12:24 a.m. An officer attempted to stop a car for reckless driving and the car initially pulled over. When the driver, Robert Barnes, 34, of Alexandria, was told he was wanted on an outstanding assault warrant from Prince William County, he drove off. Officers pursued Barnes until he drove into Alexandria City, where the pursuit was terminated. Warrants were obtained for eluding and reckless driving.
EXPOSURE: 5700 block of Burke Centre Parkway, 9/30/2018, 12:00 p.m. A 15-year-old girl and a 42-year-old woman were walking on the sidewalk. A man lowered his pants and exposed himself to them. He was described as white, 5’10”, and wearing a red thong.
