ROBBERY (CARJACKING): 14120A Lee Highway (United States Postal Service), 12/03/2018, 1:49 a.m. The victim was seated in her car in the post office parking lot. A man entered the passenger side of the car, displayed a gun, and demanded that she begin driving. The woman got out and the man drove off in her car. The suspect was described as a black man, 20 years of age, 5’4” to 5’6”, average build, and wearing dark clothing. The victim was not injured.

UNLAWFUL ENTRY: 6000 block of Curtier Drive, 12/03/18, 1:03a.m. The victim was sleeping in their apartment when someone was heard breaking in through a window. The victim ran outside and called police. Our officers found Michael Helms, 23, of Alexandria, inside of the apartment. Helms was arrested and charged with unlawful entry and destruction of property.
