Update: Murder Charge after Man Dies from Injuries Sustained During Altercation

Mount Vernon District – A 33-year-old Alexandria man is facing a murder charge for the death of Matthew Watson.  After consulting with the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner and the Office of the Commonwealth Attorney, detectives obtained a warrant charging Jerry Alan Harbison with second degree murder.  Harbison turned himself in last night and is being held without bond
