MASON DISTRICT STATION

ABDUCTION/ASSAULT: 2900 block of Willston Place, 4/30/19 11:41 p.m. Officers responded to a home for a report of a woman who was allegedly being held against her will.  When officers arrived and looked inside, they saw a woman blocking the front door and a man who appeared to be held against his will. When the man tried to get out through a window, the woman punched him several times. Officers forced entry into the home and arrested Julie Anklewich, 36, of Falls Church, and charged her with felony abduction and assault.

RECKLESS DISCHARGE: 1500 block of Cameron Crescent Drive, 04/30/19, 6:34 p.m. Officers responded to the area for the report of a gunshot. It was discovered a round was shot into the ground. No one was injured.

COMMERCIAL BURGLARY: 6450 Edsall Road (Bowl America), 4/30/19, 3 a.m. Someone broke into the business. It is unknown at this time if anything was stolen.
