MOUNT VERNON DISTRICT STATION

STOLEN AUTO WITH APPREHENSION: Richmond Highway/Frye Road, 5/7/19, 8:38 a.m. Officers were notified of stolen Maryland license plates on a Ford Explorer. Officers found the SUV, initiated a traffic stop and arrested the driver. Lemuel Muse, 60, of Washington D.C., was charged with two counts of receiving stolen goods and driving on a revoked license.

BURGLARY OF AN OCCUPIED DWELLING: 3400 block of Arnold Lane, 5/8/19, 2:25 a.m. Residents awoke to hearing footsteps inside the home. One of the residents observed a man inside the home, who immediately fled the house out the front door. Nothing appears to be missing. The suspect is described as a man in his 20s, slim build and wearing a gray sweatshirt.

FAIR OAKS DISTRICT STATION

SHOT PERSON: 13200 block of Stone Heather Drive, 5/7/19, 12:27 a.m. A man received a text to step outside of his house. Once outside, he was shot several times. He was taken to a local hospital with injuries that were not life threatening. The suspect is described as black, 20 to 25-years-old, 5’8’’ to 5’9’’, 150 pounds and wearing all black clothing. He possibly fled in a black colored sports car.
