SHOOTING: 6000 block of Raina Drive, 5/9/19, 10:10 a.m. A homeowner shot someone who was inside his home. The person who was shot person was taken to a hospital for injuries and is currently in critical but stable condition. Investigation determined the involved were known to each other. Detectives from Major Crimes assumed the investigation.

WEST SPRINGFIELD DISTRICT STATION
WEAPON BRANDISHING: 4900 block of Herkimer Street, 5/9/19, 3:05 p.m. A man was walking home when he was approached by four men. He began to walk away and noticed two of the four men following him. He began walking faster and that is when the two men started chasing him. He began to run, turned around and saw one of the men pull out a black handgun. One of the suspects was described as black, late teens to early 20s, 5’9”, 160 to 170 pounds, short hair with skull cap, wearing blue jeans, jean jacket, and had a black handgun. The other suspect was described as white, possibly Hispanic, late teens, 5’7” to 5’9”, 165 to 180 pounds, with longer hair. The other two men were described as white, possibly Hispanic, mid to late teens, 5’6” to 5’8”, 150 to 170 pounds.

CARJACKING/ASSAULT/PURSUIT: 11500 block of Cavalier Landing Court, 5/9/19, 12:30 p.m. A woman saw a man standing next to a van she did not recognize in her driveway. She asked him what he was doing and the man told her he was repossessing her car. The man punched the woman, took her car keys from her and drove away in her car. The van was later discovered stolen out of Arlington. At 3:19 p.m., Prince George’s County Police helicopter located the stolen car in the Bradlick Shopping Center. As officers arrived in the area, the car sped away. Officers pursued the stolen car and eventually cornered the car and the suspect ran away. After a brief foot chase, officers placed D’Jon Rawlinson, 27, of South Carolina, under arrest and charged him with carjacking, grand larceny, larceny with intent to sell and felony eluding.
