ROBBERY: 13900 block of Waterflow Place, 12/01/19, 11 a.m. A green car stopped next to the victim who was walking. The driver displayed a gun and demanded property. The suspect was described as a black man in his 20s with short curly hair.
BRANDISHING/ATTEPTED ROBBERY: 13600 block of Bayberry Lane, 11/28/19, 8:11 p.m. The victim was walking to her apartment when a suspect tried to take her purse. A neighbor heard the commotion and intervened. The suspect let go of the purse, displayed a handgun and pointed it at the neighbor. The suspect got into a light blue Toyota Corolla and left the area. The suspect is described as a short and thin black man.

ROBBERY: 4000 block of Buckman Road, 11/30/19, 5:37 p.m. The victim was walking home when several black men assaulted the victim and took personal items.
COMMERCIAL ROBBERY: 6138 North Kings Highway (7-Eleven), 11/30/19, 9:42 p.m. The suspect entered the store, displayed a knife and demanded cash. The suspect is described as a black man in his 20s, thin and over 6’ tall.
TRAFFIC PURSUIT/ACCIDENT WITH INJURY: Martha Washington Street/Lawrence Street, 11/30/19, 1:08 a.m. An officer saw the driver of a BMW sedan make an illegal turn and attempted a traffic stop. The driver refused to pull over and an officer pursued the car until it crashed a short distance away. Two occupants were taken to the hospital with injuries that were not life threatening. Charges for the driver are pending further investigation.
BURGLARY: 8515 Old Mount Vernon Road (Mount Vernon High School), 11/27/19, 4:52 p.m. Four suspects broke into a concession stand and stole property.

TRAFFIC PURSUIT/STOLEN AUTO: Arlington Boulevard/Fairview Park Drive, 11/28/19, 3:15 a.m. An officer attempted to make a traffic stop and the driver of a 2012 Volkswagen Jetta sped away. The driver stopped in a neighborhood and three juveniles ran from the car. The juveniles were found and arrested with the help of our helicopter and police K9. Officers determined the car was stolen and juvenile petitions are pending.

UNLAWFUL DISCHARGE OF A FIREARM: 5000 block of Caryn Court, 11/27/19, 6:02 p.m. Officers responded to the area for a report of gunshots. Officers found that three unoccupied parked cars had been struck. No one was injured and officers are investigating.

COMMERCIAL BURGLARY: 6134 Brandon Avenue (A&D Pharmacy), 11/27/19, 3:25 a.m. Two men broke into the business and stole merchandise.
GRAND LARCENY/TRAFFIC PURSUIT: 7905 Hilltop Village Center Drive (Wegmans), 11/27/19, 11:31 a.m. A woman exited the store without paying for groceries. She entered the passenger seat of a Mercedes Benz SLK-320 that exited the parking lot. A responding officer saw the car and attempted a traffic stop but the driver sped away. After a brief pursuit, the driver stopped on I-95 and both occupants were arrested. Nicole Lewis, 46, of Washington, D.C., was charged with grand larceny, larceny with the intent to distribute, possession of a schedule I/II narcotic, possession of a schedule I/II narcotic while possessing a firearm, disregard police command to stop, driving on revoked/suspended license, prisoner possess an unlawful compound and she was served on an outstanding larceny warrant. The passenger, Merle Soden, 54, of California, was charged with grand larceny, possession of a schedule I/II narcotic and possession of a schedule I/II narcotic while possessing a firearm.

BURGLARY: 8300 block of Kings Ridge Court, 11/27/19, 5:05 p.m. Someone broke into the home and stole personal property.
UNLAWFUL ENTRY: 4900 block of Tibbitt Lane, 11/27/19, 3:11 p.m. A man entered a home, but it did not appear anything was taken. The man was described as Hispanic and in his 30s.
