DESTRUCTION OF PROPERTY/ASSAULT ON LAW ENFORCEMENT: 8257 Richmond Highway (Red Carpet Inn), 3/30/20, 5:40 a.m. A woman reportedly became irate with guest services and smashed out a window to the front office. Officers took her into custody after she assaulted an officer and tried to run away. Adriana Warner, 32, of Alexandria, was arrested and charged with assault on a law enforcement officer, forging public records, false statements to obtain property or credit, false identify self to law enforcement, resisting arrest and drunk in public. ATTEMPTED ROBBERY: Lake Street/Charles Street, 3/30/20, 12:00 a.m. The victim was walking near the intersection when he was approached by three men who displayed a knife and demanded his personal property. The victim ran away and was briefly chased by one of the suspects. The victim made it to safety and reported the incident. The suspects were described as wearing all dark clothing.
