GRAND LARCENY/VEHICLE TAMPERING: 14700 block of Truitt Farm Drive, 4/16/20, 2:45 a.m. A suspect in a green SUV left the area after reportedly stealing tires and wheels from a Toyota Corolla. An officer spotted the SUV nearby, initiated a traffic stop and recovered the stolen items. Jose Sola Navarro, 29, of Maryland, was charged with grand larceny and vehicle tampering.

WEST SPRINGFIELD DISTRICT STATION
COMMERCIAL ROBBERY: 8319 Old Keene Mill Road (7-Eleven), 4/15/20, 11:20 a.m. A man attempted to exit the store without paying for merchandise. An employee confronted him resulting in the employee being assaulted. The man re-entered the store and knocked over shelves containing merchandise. Officers arrived and arrested Raja Hussain, 22, of Springfield. He was charged with robbery, destruction of property and assault and held without bond.

UNLAWFUL ENTRY: 4500 Dixie Hill Road (Eagle View Elementary School), 4/16/20, 12:57 a.m. School Security and officers arrived for a school alarm and saw a juvenile walking in the parking lot. The juvenile was taken into custody. An investigation revealed the juvenile had entered the school, but nothing appeared to have been taken. Charges are pending.
